Estuary and coastal wildlife
Wading birds and seals are two of the most spectacular types of wildlife seen around our estuary and coastal shores. For waterbirds, viewing opportunities are often best on the highest tides, at high tide roosts or at the shoreline. Spectacular aerial dances known as murmurations sometimes occur when a predator is nearby and are a little-known natural wonder.
